What is ADAC?
American Dance Arts Collective is the international touring branch of IDAC, which performs repertoire from the USA at international folk festivals. At these festivals, ADAC represents the USA to other countries from around the world. It is a great honor, responsibility, and privilege! IDAC excitedly launched this touring collective team in 2025, upon receiving acceptance into CIOFF. After being admitted into this international organization, ADAC received its first-ever invitation to attend a CIOFF International Folk Arts festival!

First CIOFF Festival: Vatra Dornei, Romania
CIOFF is a global non-governmental organization (NGO) partnered with UNESCO that promotes and preserves traditional culture and Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) through folklore festivals, music, dance, customs, and crafts worldwide.
International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts
CIOFF connects national sections in over 90 countries, organizing hundreds of festivals annually to share cultural diversity and foster peace, acting as a vital "living stage" for traditions
